  1. Spring or maybe summer has arrived and my garden has errupted with flowers, some of which I never planted, so where do they come from ? I missed taking photos of some of the beautiful blossoms on the trees a few weeks ago so I made sure that I got out between the rain showers to show you what inspires me, just outside my back door.

Does anyone know what this is ?  I thought it might be Herb Robert but I'm not sure.

    Herb Robert ?

Forget-me-nots, delicate little things when you see them up close.

  2. Easter is here at last, warmer weather, spring flowers and of course Easter Bunnies. I saw some driving to the supermarket the other day, which gave me an idea for a necklace.

My neice will probably be getting far too many Easter Eggs so I quickly made up a pink bunny for her as she is at that age now where she is pink and bunny mad. As usual when I get an idea I have to try out various options to see what will work best.

  3. 2 weeks of plastic for 2 persons copy

Not a pretty picture, but this was the plastic I threw out this week. I was only able to re-cycle half of it and the rest will go to landfill.

I've decided enough is enough and I'm taking on the Marine Conservation Society's Plastic Challenge throughout June. I've committed to cutting the amount of plastic I use by 70%. To find out why,  visit
